Project UFO was a multidisciplinary project made in cooperation with the artist Vilde von Krogh, were we invited the philosophers, Rune Salomonsen, Lars Vilks and Miss π to participate.
The public entered the UFO in order to consult the philosophers - dressed like aliens /oracles- on all subject ranging for the most trivial to once of more existential character.
UFO was part of the European City of Culture Bergen programme 2000.
The purpose of the project was to create a playful and informal experience that involved the public as well as the participating philosophers.
During the three weeks the project lasted, because of the location and the reconcilable shape of an UFO.
We experienced visitors that usually don’t go to exhibitions, such as drug addict, youngsters, police on bicycle, and Jehovahs witness were visiting the installation.
